Antique Art Supplies

Starting in 1974 I was a partner/owner of an art supply store named Art Media. During the 37 years we were in business I collected antique art supplies. When I traveled I would stop in every Art Supply store and ask if they had any old catalogs or supplies they were ready to let go of. My wife(Christine) and I would go to estate sales in
Portland and the surrounding areas and find items to add to my collection. It was fun and interesting and I hope you enjoy seeing what I found.

UPDATE:    July 31, 2020 i shipped my collection to the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. It is an honor to have these vintage art supplies, that I collected over several years, placed in their archives. I look forward to visiting the gallery to see how they are stored or displayed.
